Congratulations on your admission to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and your decision to join the Bryan School of Business and Economics family! We look forward to meeting you soon.
Who Are You?
As a new student you are required and it is your responsibility to attend one of the New Student SOAR sessions, Spartan Orientation Advisement and Registration. During one of your two day SOAR sessions, you will meet with Bryan Undergraduate Student Services and be guided through the advisement and registration process.
New transfer students are required to attend one of the New Transfer SOAR sessions, Spartan Orientation Advisement and Registration. Prior to your SOAR session we encourage majors in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Information Systems and Operations Management, and Marketing to contact the Bryan Undergraduate Student Services office to schedule an ARA appointment at 336.334.5928. If you are unable to come to campus for an ARA we can also conduct a phone or video conference advising appointment. The day of your SOAR session we will also have advisors available for an ARA session at the end of the SOAR day.
Readmitted or Reactivated students majoring in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Information Systems and Operations Management and Marketing are to contact the Bryan Undergraduate Student Services office to schedule an advisement appointment at 336.334.5928.
New and Returning Online Degree Completion Students are required to attend an online orientation and then an individual phone advisement appointment with your assigned academic advisor.
Part A: An online orientation that will center on the program, school and campus resources, procedures, and degree requirements. This session will be guided by an academic advisor from the Bryan School and will last approximately 60 minutes.
Part B: An individual phone advisement appointment with your assigned academic advisor where the two of you will discuss courses that are the best fit for you. Part B will last approximately 30 minutes.
You must participate in both parts of this program. Appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis so it is imperative that you contact us as soon as possible.
