Resources for Students

Below are a number of online career resources available to help students with managing their careers.  Please feel free to list these resources in your syllabus, and encourage students to use them to assist with their own personal career management.

  • UNCG Career Services Center: Visit their website to learn more about resources and events to assist you in your career development.
  • SpartanCareers: An online job board for UNCG students and alumni.  The following can be found on SpartanCareers: postings for internships, full-time jobs, and on-campus and off-campus part-time jobs; CSC career fair information and information about other CSC events; interview schedules for on-campus recruiting opportunities; and an employer database.
  • InterviewStream:  Would you hire you?  Participate in a mock interview and find out.  Practice interviewing…anytime…anywhere.  InterviewStream provides free unlimited mock interviews, 24/7 video practice using a webcam, and 6,000+ questions to try!  To login, click here.  Then click sign up to create your account.
  • UNCG Library: The UNCG Library provides a number of online business databases that you can use to research companies and industries. This information can be helpful to you during your job/internship search, as well as when preparing for interviews.
