The reason for the date change revolves around how the Instrument of Governance (IOG) addresses curricular changes and the upcoming MBA Committee motion. In consultation with the Graduate Programs Committee (GPC), MBA Committee, the Parliamentarian and FEC, I am striving to ensure we adhere to our own policies in a logical and efficient manner. In particular, how best to manage the curriculum review process to ensure that we operate in an effective and efficient manner that is consistent with broader UNCG policies. In short, we have reached an interim solution to allow the MBA Committee’s motion to proceed in a fashion that ensures a rigorous and complete review of the proposed changes. The new sequencing allows the GPC to conduct its review prior to the motion being brought to the Faculty Assembly.
