IdeaFest Elevator Pitch Contest

Middle Border Forward group in Danville, VA is hosting an “elevator” pitch contest. If a student has a good idea, they can pitch for two minutes and win $3,000.

It is set for Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville, Virginia. IdeaFest includes Startup Readiness Express (a workshop to develop entrepreneurship skills), a business pitch competition, a resource fair, and a networking reception. Pitch participants will compete for prize money in front a panel of judges and audience members.

One goal of IdeaFest is to promote entrepreneurship among residents of the Southside region – but we also hope to showcase our available resources to aspiring entrepreneurs. That is why it is so important to us to have UNCG students at this event. We appreciate your help by sharing the attached flyer as well as our website (www.ideafestdanville.com) with interested students or other individuals.
