About Us

The Student Advisory Council of the Bryan School of Business and Economics (SAC) has assisted Dean Banks in various improvements in the Bryan.

In the past, the SAC has acted as a consultant to UNCG Dining Services in developing the Bryan School Food Court. Today the Bryan School Food Court is a vital piece of the Bryan School, providing a place to eat lunch, meet with group members and act as break area for students between classes.

SAC also provides input and helps with developing revised procedures for end-of-course teaching evaluations. Not only does SAC provide end-of-course feedback, but also remains an advisor to the Dean on curriculum issues and other topics that are important to students in the Bryan School. Each SAC member is actively involved in committees and event planning that benefit their learning and provide valuable services to their fellow students.

Each semester, SAC hosts several important events for students, including the Senior Class Gift, Networking Dinner, Golf Clinic and various volunteer activities. SAC is geared toward increased student involvement and awareness in the Bryan School. To further encourage events for student learning, SAC provides funding to other Bryan School student organizations each semester. See the “Apply for Event Funding” tab on the sidebar to apply on behalf of your organization today.
